CREATIVES COLLECTIVE
CREATIVITY IS AN INHERENT PART OF WHO WE WERE MADE TO BE AND IS SOMETHING THAT CAN BE NURTURED AND DEVELOPED IN EACH OF US.
At Axiom we believe that the church is called to be a prophetic witness through vocation, art, creativity and mission. As a Jesus-centered community, we seek to equip and nurture the creativity in everyone. We participate in the creative and pioneering nature of Jesus and His Kingdom. This calls us to create space for all forms of creativity and to find and nurture the organic places where the arts and the community collide.
In 2018 we noticed a growing amount of artists, musicians, and creatives in our community desiring and seeking affirmation and encouragement in their passion. We started gathering and inviting artists and creatives to come and nurture their creativity through inspiration, sharing our projects and finding ways for collaboration. We call this space the Creatives Collective. Out of the Creatives Collective has come community projects like street murals, our "love thy neighbor" wall, a contemplative experience called Resonant, a monthly community wide art and music event called 2nd Saturdays, art shows and much more. Looking ahead we hope to continue to find organic opportunities of displaying Jesus through art in our community. Join the email list to stay in the know!
